Job Description

  • Follow up on accounts payable invoices from regional and plants/sites
  • Check all invoices are properly approved and matched with purchase orders and delivery orders, and properly coded, and capture accurate information into assigned section of Accounts Payable modules in the accounting system in compliance with Hanson’s policy and in adherence to deadlines set
  • Check prices in suppliers’ invoices to quotations, agreements or contracts if applicable
  • Timely reconciliation of assigned major creditors
  • Print AP reports
  • Assist in timely monthly closing of assigned section of AP module into GL
  • Assist AP Officer & AP Officer in liaison with auditors in preparing creditors’ confirmations and reconciliations for both statutory and Hanson reporting
  • Candidate must possess at least a minimum of Diploma with basic accounting knowledge or LCCI qualification.
  • Knowledge in SAP will be an advantage.
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent. Job role in Basic Accounting/Bookkeeping/Accounts Executive or Financial Accounting & Reporting.
  • Must be Computer literate.
