Maintenance Technician (Mountain Top, PA) – Technician (s) will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to program PLC’s and/or CNC’s and have the capability to troubleshoot ladder logic. Must be able to troubleshoot and repair various CNC’s, Saw’s, lathes and other equipment. This position will require the use of a mobile equipment. Therefore, successful completion of an internal mobile equipment training course is required. Must be able to weld effectively; learn the correct and safest means of using all maintenance equipment; perform electrical repairs on production equipment and be capable of working from prints and instructions when performing electrical installations and repairs. Must have knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic operated machinery, equipment, and systems. Must be able to efficiently use various maintenance tools, including, but not limited to, saws, cutting torches, shop equipment, power hand tools, and related hand tools. Must make good and timely decisions, work and use time efficiently, and correctly determine, identify, and request parts and supplies. Must also be able to make building repairs and be able to work in the area of pipefitting, plumbing, and carpentry. Adherence to Hydro Safety protocol / PPE.   Work Experience ·         3 – 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is required. ·         Knowledge of robotic controls and programming is required. ·         Previous aluminum fabrication experience preferred; ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, changing work environment ·         Must be able to communicate effectively with subordinates, peers, and managers individually and in group setting. Education       • Two years of Technical school including electrical, PLC’s, hydraulics & pneumatics          preferred but not required.     • Two years of maintenance experience, preferably in an industrial setting.  Emphasis on PLC’s, hydraulics and mechanical Functional ·         Meticulous attention to detail and an innate knack to research and solve problems ·         Ability to flourish in a fast-paced, changing production atmosphere while working independently with tight schedules and adhering to the highest standards of excellence  ·         Team Player; Self-Starter; Adaptable to change
